Composting toilet

Composting toilets can replace regular flash toilets indoors and out. There are self-contained units and central systems where the output from multiple toilets is piped to a separate composting station. You can build a compost toilet inexpensively from scratch, or purchase one, in the $1,000-2,000US range for a self-contained unit.
