[edit] One way to create page: notes, quotes and links

One way to build pages is to start a topic with quotes (from books, web) and links. When I research something for the farm, it usually involves getting ahold of at least one book, and a LOT of online looking around. Capturing these notes, with full references as to where everything came from, seems like a naturally, easy way to make more use out of research I'm doing anyway. --Mike (tfb) 13:37, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Individual veggie guide pages

I think it'd be useful to fill out all the veggie guide pages. Each page would include basic info like:

  • plant description
  • seed starting and cultivation details
  • harvest and storage
  • uses
  • other resources

Although this information is already available online and in books, it can be scattered. A new synthesis of what's out there, that's open to be added to, seems worthwhile.

I'll start working on a sample page: Carrot --Mike (tfb) 23:57, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
