Walk-in coolers

From Tiny Farm Wiki

Walk-in coolers for produce storage can keep the harvest fresher for longer. Coolers are usually kept cool with some form of refrigeration unit. A cooler can be used for short-term or longer-term holding. A Friday harvest could held in a cooler for Saturday market, as an improvement over non-refrigerated storage in the coolest available spot. For fresh market sales, coolers can also be used to keep a harvest for a several days, allowing more harvest flexibility, while, ideally, preserving the harvest quite close to its just-picked state.

Some form of cooler is a common next step in the growth of a very small farm, and is often considered a necessity in market gardens of 4 acres or larger.
